Battle of the Books Winners!

Our junior and senior Battle of the Books teams both won first prize at their tournament on Monday.  The tournament was held in Holland Marsh where they had to battle other teams to win top prize.  Well done students and coaches!

Rocks and Rings Visits Orangeville

We were happy to welcome an instructor from Rocks and Rings to teach our kids about curling today.

Visit from the OACS Foundation

I had a nice visit today from the OACS Foundation where they handed me a cheque that we're going to use to complete our stage renovation with lighting.  Thanks so much to the OACS Foundation and its generous donors!

Easter Chapel - Blessed are the Pure in Heart

Today we had a wonderful time of prayer, praise, and reflection as we held our Easter chapel.  Ms. V. and the Grade 1/2 class led us in an exploration of Jesus' words that "Blessed are the Pure in Heart".  At the end of the chapel, students brought a stone with the words 'sin' on it to the foot of the cross and put a small piece of paper on a cross with one of 5 words on it: Mercy, Forgiven, Love, Grace, Peace.
